Patient Advocate (1000+ posts) Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,128 | Juat read an article that stated supplemental AOs are dangerous as they promote cancer growth, but AOs naturally appearing in foods are OK; apparently, the food AOs have a lot of complex interactions compared to the supplemental AOs.
Personally, I didn't take anything other than my liquid diet and prescription meds during irradiation -- I rather not have the benefits than risk anything that might promote cancer.
