Charm: It's always good to see your posts that let us know how you are doing. You are a "Shining Example" of how we all should be when tackling the many set-backs you have had. I see you plugging away constantly helping "newbie's" when they post, and others who are asking for advice, and am amazed at the amount of time you spend helping them. And all the time, you are suffering with your own problems, but never complain. See, that's being a "Shining Example." I pray that one day you'll be free from all the crappy problems the treatments caused. I hate mucus also, and have been battling it for some time (5 years since my treatments), so know how nasty that stuff is, sticky or frothy, yuk! Julieann Nov 2007 SCC on right tonsil following tonsillectomy. Was smoker, QUIT. (Stage IV T2 N2b) 7 weeks radiation one day/wk chemo (carboplatin and 5-FU). Allergic to Taxol; PEG in, lost 30 lbs. TX completed January 2008. PEG out mid- 2008. PET/CT 1/17/2011;2/3/12 NEGATIVE for cancer
