Make sure you get a hearing test before you begin treatments. If you experience anything unusual with your hearing make sure you tell the doc immediately. Also, the smaller weekly doses of chemo are much easier to tolerate. I was scheduled for 3 big doses of cisplatin but only had 2 since I was very ill and the doc cancelled the 3rd round. This has happened to others here too.
