I'm certainly no expert and it's not me going through this but it just makes sense to not take the chance of going down the path that hasn't gone away yet and will accelerate after this chemo/radiation treatment. I guess he needs to learn each lesson the hard way. It's the way he's always been in life so I shouldn't expect anything different I suppose.
