I can see the pain she is in and yet, now that she is feeling more like herself again, she fights so valiantly. I just read your other post about your tongue, what you OC heroes go through is tremendous. The fears alone would do me in. My mom will celebrate her 64th birthday this Saturday. I am so proud of her, I am so blessed to have her as my mother. I love her with all my heart. I hope you have a Blessed Christmas also.

Donna CG to Mom, dx 4/25/07 with tongue cancer,T3N0,tx began 7/6/07, 31 tx's of IMRT, 8 cycles of Erbitux. Brachytherapy, surgery, left neck dissection and temp trach placed all on 9/17/07, trach removed 10/17/07. ORN of jaw, late effect of radiation symptoms. **lost my beautiful mother on 5/5/11.
