I also do really well with most seafood. I also eat Hebrew National hotdogs. And I agree that chicken thighs work a lot better than white meat. I have been able to eat chicken wings, too, as long as they aren't a dry rub and aren't too spicy. Bread is still difficult, unless it is thin and very flaky. Today I had a bowl of French onion soup, and the bread on top was nice and soggy so I could eat that as well.

Female, nonsmoker, 70, diag. 5/09 after tongue biopsy: stage IV. Left hemi-gloss. and left selec. neck disec. 30 lymph nodes removed May 20. Over 7 weeks daily rads. with three chemo. surgery involving lifestyle changes. 2/14: Now speaking w/Passey-Muir valve. Considering a swallow study. Grateful to be alive.
