The recovery after radiation may be a little longer and slower than you might expect. Depends on how bad you have gotten through the chemo and radiation. You will need a couple of weeks to pull your body back from fighting itself and then it will start to heal. Taste, saliva, swallowing, eating will all come along slowly but improving in little ways.
