Your family would probably be devastated that you didn't tell them. My mom died at 59 and it's been 10 years and I still miss her like crazy. Your husband is broken hearted over his mom, I cannot imagine how he'd feel losing you too. Some early stage cancers are dealt with by surgery. Please don give up even if it is cancer. Hugs!
