They say the leading causes are smoking and misuse of alcohol and usually it occurs in older people than me. They couldn't explain where I got it from.
But yes, I would never know why I got it.. I feel it might have been weed.. the weed itself shouldn't be harmful. This is the chemicals that they might have put there. This is illegal stuff and obviously the quality hasn't been approved by anyone.
Anyway better not to think about it. Perhaps the golden rule is to be careful with what we put in our mouths...

25/09/12 - diagnosis: lateral left side tongue moderate SCC (10-15mm)
15/10/12 - operation: partial glossectomy + neck dissection
17/11/12 - operation: excision of the tongue scar (or extensive biopsy)
26 y.o., non-smoker, social drinker
