Linda's burns have healed up nicely and she has more energy. Her hair is almost long enough to need combing, except for one spot which remains bald. Hope that will grow in eventually. I'm trying to grt her to look at the boutique that carries the bras and stuff for women with mastectomies and see if we can find her a swim suit so we can go swimming at the creek but she's having a hard time still with feeling disfigured. Hopefully time will heal the wounds to her self esteem as it heals the physical wounds. I won't push her on it. Many thanks for all the strength and encouragement we've gotten from you all. David R. 65 yr old male non-smoker, light drinker, stage 3 or 4, depending on which doc you ask, scc rt. tonsil, 2 nodes, 7 weeks radiation and chemo. No surgery. Teatment ended 3/20/08. PET scan 8/08 showed no cancer.
And now, as of oct, 2010, caregiver to wife, Linda, with breast cancer.
May, 2013, Linda diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. Enuf already.
