 Joined:  Apr 2005 Posts: 2,219 |  I'm really not sure how she will manage, but I do rememebr that she pretty much handled things on her own the last 2 times.  Of course, this time, the treatment was much more involved than before.
 With Travis going into the Marines next month, I am concerned.
 
 Since she took an apartment that is closer to the hospital than her house, travel for follow-up will be easier.

 Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis.  SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05.  Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
