Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 329 | I'm having speech problems too I noticed if I talk to fast my words roll together. I'm going to a Speech therapist today to see if they can help. I had my surgery April 21st 2009 it might be too early for my speech to come back. I was told it would give it time. My tongue feels double of size it's still swollen, the side of my face still feels numb but not like it was is this normal?

SCC. of the left lateral tongue, anterior two thirds, T1 possibly a T2.
Left partial glossectomy, left selective neck dissection 4/21/09. Nodes clean, No Rad, No Chemo.
CT Scan 9/11 clean, CT Scan 9/12 clean
