My jawbone was removed and replaced with bone from my back. However, it failed and I almost bled to death,they removed the bone and had to leave it as is. So I have a partial lowerjawbone
I really don't need to read the other posts. I have been there and now I am losing what little I have left. It is scary-I am not being hysterical. Brenda, I am so sorry. I have a friend whose father has a primary in lung and has been coping and dealing with it for many years. It just never grows and we are so happy. You just never know, I quess.

Partial mandibulectomy and neck dissection 2/3/07. T2NOMO.
Had 14 hour operation which included reconstruction of jaw.
Reconstruction failed. Some radiation, no chemo.
