Thank you all for your kind and heartfelt words! I have had several things worthy of posting since the Bird incident. First I have been on a short vacation near the Canadian border in Canoe country with my family.

Second on Thursday last I had a checkup with the ENT and he thinks I am doing fine, it's 28 months now!

Last (for now) Mommy bird did not come back. One of the two birds died, we think because of injuries from the fall out of it's nest. confused

The GOOD news is the other baby bird is doing quite well eating $2.00 per day of worms. He/she has grown remarkably big in the last week and the boy's have adopted him/her with the name Charley. smile
