As for the tombstone, the Chichester Diocese refused to allow the english epitaph but a compromise was reached with the Irish translation, "D�irt m� leat go raibh m� breoite", and additionally in English, "Love, light, peace" according to this BBC report Mulligan gets Last Laugh on Grave
