Neil did end up going out on disability on 11/28/08. He had to have gotten at least on disability payment before he died in order for me to collect on his pension before he would have turned 60. He was 48 so in this case timing was everything. It was very easy for the doctor to say that he was permanantly disabled because of the lack of response to treatment.

cg to husband, 48 Stage 1V head and neck SCC. First surgery 9/07. Radiation and several rounds of chemo followed. Mets to chest and lungs. "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." Went home to God on February 22, 2009.
