I had all of my teeth removed and months after I had white spots in my mouth went back to the dentist and he told me they were bone spurs or chips if you may they worked themselves out...I don't know if this relates to your husbands problen with his mouth the gums around the white spots got inflamed and red until they worked themselves out...they say third times the charm is there anyway you can get a third opinion?? Dianne..treatment at cc at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario...insulin dependant, Surgery Sept 8/08 Tracheotomy,composite resection and bilateral neck dissection, left radial forearm free flap... T2N0 squamous cell carcinoma. No radiation A little over 2 yrs clear YAY
