This was my worst tax season ever and I've been through 36 now!!! I have never been so busy. It was like people were coming out of the ground. I took on over 100 new clients (had over 600 to begin with) and ended up extending 126 corporations and 213 individuals. Oh and I fired my only CPA employee in November and never found a replacement which left me as the only one to prepare all returns. My day started at 4:30 am and I usually went home at 8 pm or so everyday since about Feb 15th. My left eye started twitching about a month ago and I just got used to it. I haven't been on my bike in 3 months and my tax software crashed 3 times April 15th. I just was able to confirm (today at 7 am) that all but 6 of my tax returns were accepted by the IRS as timely filed. So now with April 15th past I plan to start riding again and work less hours and my eye has already stopped twitching. Thanks for letting me vent.
