I have to tell you I am so GLAD you replied! You don't owe me an apology, I didn't think your comment was "thoughtless" in fact I thought it was sincere. You wrote what was on your mind. I know what you are saying when you say you started to write your reply and then deleted. I did the same thing when I wrote the previous post. All in all there is probably four hours (maybe more) into that post and several attempts went into the recycle bin. I also want to say, you have every right to feel what you feel and I have NO right to say you shouldn't feel angry or feel any other feelings (That was not my intent).

I was exploring. Exploring my mind as well as the others. The good thing is that this is one of few places where we can express our feelings an others will have at least SOME idea what we are saying. There are probably a lot of people that are going to read this series of posts and wonder what the hell we are talking about. I say WE ARE TALKING! smile


Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
