I am thrilled with your decision to carry on. Where there is life there is indeed hope.
Yes life changes and there are hurdles and challenges along the way, But life is indeed still worth living, worth fighting for. I, for one , am pleased that you now feel the same.
Don't try to be a hero through treatments. Be kind to yourself and take everything offered to make it easier on yourself.

R) level 2-4 neck dissection 8/1/11 to remove residual node - necrotic with NED
Feb '12 Ca back.. 3/8/12 total glossectomy/laryngectomy/bilat neck dissection/partial pharyngectomy etc. clear margins. All nodes negative for disease. PEG in.
March 2017 - 5 years disease free. Woohoo!
