You sound very frustrated and I don't blame you. People try to carefully schedule things - trying to gain some measure of "control" in a time that seems completely out of control - and then someone rips even that away. Time to keep your eye on the PRIZE - that is the end of treatment. There will be these "hiccups" (pun intended) along the way, but you WILL GET THERE. I cannot imagine what their problem is with thrush medication. Good Lord - I think they would have given me prescriptions for gallons of the stuff if I had asked for it. Don't beat yourself up about a misread of a prescription. I find their approach odd at best!

Venting is a good thing - keep on doing it - you are doing a great job as caregiver.
