Well, it is suppose to be RT-Day=4 of 8, but things just seem to keep happening.....I read a quote on this site once that really stuck in my head....I hope I am quoting it correctly...it said "Never take your eye off the ball..it may just smack you in the mouth". That is how we feel.
On Friday, the RT called and had to re-schedule all appts. from mornings to afternoons because "They" are having Changes with Drs. So I told Tim instead of 10:30-RT it would have to be 3:00-RT for the next 7-RTs.
Also, we found out that he was taking almost Triple dose of the Duflican (for Thrush) and the Dr won't give another script until he sees him on Wed 10/31 (so no thrush meds for Friday thru Wed)....it was written on the detail descriptions, but Dr didn't go over with us (I realize that is my fault for not paying attention). He also is getting constant Hick-ups..don't know if that should be a concern.
And now today, the RT calls 30 minutes before appt (after I get home from traveling 100 miles to/from work & miss major BD-meeting) to casually let us know that there is no RT treatments today because the machine broke yesterday evening. Ugh...so, I had to tell Tim that instead of making "The No Matter What Last Day of 11/5 will need to be 11/6".
I know this may sound trivial to some, but when it is Count Down Time for the '2nd time'...every little thing IS a big thing.
Tim is Hanging in there....RT=3 of 8 left to do.
