Nope no NORM for anything re this cancer or Tx.
Me personally....We were fortunate in that my wife and I are totally self employed types with many employees and my Office Mgr in my CPA firm is so handy and she can and more importantly WILL work in our restaurant whenever she's needed, some days bouncing back n forth like a ping pong ball. That took a tremendous pressure off both of us during and post Tx.
I tried working from home during the bad parts of my Tx but my concentration level was near zero so I gave up on that idea quickly. Post Tx I was able to go back to work maybe a month post Tx, I can't really remember now, but I know I didn't last many hours each day at first but before long I was back to putting in my normal days with one big exception. Before Dx and Tx I would start in my CPA office at about 8 am or so and then at 6 pm or so devote my energy mostly to the restaurant and walk back n forth as needed until closing time where I would close the restaurant and got home between 10 and 11 pm. I did that since we opened the restaurant in 1997. After Tx and after returning to work I tried unsuccessfully to convince my wife 10 years younger to sell everything and retire. I went thru what everyone does questioning life and what's really important type issues. To my disappointment at the time she said NO, NO and NO just to make it clear. She did say I could retire but what fun would that have been?? Well I didn't retire and I'm glad I listened to her (again) but ever since then I leave my CPA office around 7pm and she stays and closes the restaurant.
