Operation on 12th Feb to fix problem between flap and tongue only made it worse.
Have just had my disinfection type shower, no deodorant,nail polish etc. etc... been fasting since midnight last night and will leave in around 15 minutes for another operation. Hope this is the last and the problem can be fixed. Expect it to be day surgery only although another general so home in around 6 hours.
My work colleagues think I must have something for the surgeon to keep going back for more...not true shocked
I will be ecstatic if this works and it is the last.
I will post the stitches count either later today or tomorrow (around 15 on the 12th Feb but I suspect more today!!)

History Leukoplakia bx 8/2006 SCC floor mouth T3N0M0- Verrucous Carcinoma.
14 hour 0p SCC-Right ND/excision/marginal mandibulectomy 9/2006, 4 teeth removed, flap from wrist, trach-ng 6 days- no chemo/rad.
6 ops and debulking (flap/tongue join) + bx's 2006-2012.
bx Jan 2012 Hyperkeratosis-Epithelial Dysplasia
24cm GIST tumour removed 8/2013. Indefinite Oral Chemo.

1/31/16 passed away peacefully surrounded by family
