Platinum Member (300+ posts) Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 489 | I don't think I would say I am dependent on my PEG (well I am to get my total nutrition), but I find myself using it instead of going to the trouble and the mess of trying to eat. I'm not sure how to deal with this - I keep hoping that the post tx side effects will lessen and eating will be more enjoyable again. Then there is that time factor too - it takes me so long to eat the smallest amounts and if I'm really hungry, the PEG is faster.
