Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | Well the reason I asked was get your opinions and I did and as much as I don't want to, I won't bring it up UNLESS he does. Even as I type I want to change my mind because I would rather loose a friend that have him die. No we are not best buds but we are good next door neighbors whom both leave their keys to our homes when we are away. He even had to be kicked out of the ambulance which was taking me to the ER when I was a month post Tx and got deathly ill after eating a taco at Taco Bell. (another story)
Anyway I will wait and see what he says the next time we talk, I guess I'll make up my mind then.

Age 58 at Dx, HPV16+ SCC, Stage IV BOT+2 nodes, non smoker, casual drinker, exercise nut, Cisplatin x 3 & concurrent IMRT x 35,(70 Gy), no surgery, no Peg, Tx at Moffitt over Aug 06. Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
