Liz ..we had the same problem with my Dad 5 years ago. Found him by the RR tracks then up the golf course with a rope and a ladder...in the end he stabbed himself 6 times and nearly succeeded. What saved him was electric shock therapy which I was unaware they did any more. I will pray for your family.
