Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Well gary, tomorrow starts the 3rd week and I will be ready. Rads and chemo tomorrow , then tues rads and MRI. I never take the pain meds before I drive there within 3 or 4 hrs. I have had so many surgeries on other parts of my body, and 2 of them still hurt a lot. Every body part but my legs . LOL The worst ws the abdominal aortic anneurysm and 2nd my esophagus. My body thinks it's supposed to hurt. With this I will have someone at the ready.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
