For some reason, most doctors recommend a scan at 3 months.
But my advice would be to ask for an MRI instead.
The Petscan at three months gives way way too many false positives and unnecessary anxiety and worry. The CT just does not give the detail the MRI does so has the opposite problem of perhaps missing something. Just my opinion based on my experiences and readings. Not surprisingly the doctors whose studies were funded by PETscan manufacturers claim they are just fine,
