Those that know me know I work out often, for several reasons however a major one is that exercise is shown to be as effective as antidepressants on depression. Where the effects aren't immediate, over a period they are found to be equally effective.
Helps with pain, outlook etc...also studies show that the higher percentage of lean muscle mass on a cancer patient generally leads to a better prognosis. One more reason I lift like a mofo.
