Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | I had cisplatin (though only two because my blood counts got so low), and had tinnitus short term; during treatment and now and then for the first year following treatments but have had no problems for a year or so. I don't think my heairng has been damaged in any way either (certainly not noticably). I was also told hearing loss was an uncommon side effect.
