Tony, You sound like a strong person with lots of determination. I'll bet you will make it too. I do have a suggestion. It might be worth a shot to sit down and talk to each of the Docs and the hospital about reviewing the charges for your treatment. If you can talk face to face with a patient ombudsman and explain that paying the "full tilt" prices charged will put you in financial jeopardy, you might get these bills reduced. {remember, Ins. companies do not pay at those rates] It is the experience of several of us that you can, in fact, negotiate the cost of many of these charges.
