We are all really happy for this good catch and quick resolution. This is the roller coaster as you aptly describe it we all live on. Here’s hoping it is a long time before the next precipitous drop or sharp turn. Be well. B

l wholeheartedly agree that good insurance is a must.
I think some refer to it as ' catastrophic insurance'.
My diagnosis in 2015 was stage 4.
HPV related cancer.
Treatments were brutal..full strength with the chemo & radiation.
I remember the first statement after treatment.....cost was close to $165.000. !!!!
Thank you B.C.B.S. of Massachusetts.
Good insurance is imperative...sadly..the people who need to be reminded of the importance of good insurance are not here reading this..
Young people think they are going to live forever..and it's never going to happen to them ..
Good Luck.
p.s. l am this month celebrating my 7th year in remission..

Six weeks after my H & N cancer was confirmed...l was able to get a good health policy through B.C.B.S.
I believe insurance companies can no longer penalize you under the so called 'pre condition clause'..?
I was under the impression that this was passed under Obama's Presidency. ?
I see your initial post was in January of this year....so you may not see this reply to your post..
Sadly...in my case..prior to my cancer diagnosis l had only a limited health plan ..
We should all seriously think about what some refer to as 'catastrophic health insurance' especially as we age..

My thanks again to B.C.B.S. 💓

How has your 7 years gone? When you passed the 5th year did you feel comfortable with full remission tag? Still cannot believe we are the only advanced nation in the world that does not give all citizens healthcare and instead we have to fight tooth and nail our entire lives against these vicious companies...
