Okay. I got my results. He said that the spots were Melanotic Macules! Turns out I had spots in my mouth just like my little doggie has spots in his, and all over his body. (really weird. he has pink skin with black spots all over!) It's weird. I have spots everywhere, it seems. And I get them in the strangest places. I had them appear in my mouth just lately, but a couple years back, my eye doctor did this test where this machine literally takes a photo of the inside of your eye. And I apparenly have a spot INSIDE my eye! So weird.
Now, he did say something about in the one spot there were some kind of cellular changes? But he said not to worry about it.
So I got the good news! It's NOT bad!!! Now if I can get the other problem in my mouth fixed up, I'll be in good shape!
I also meant what I said about doing something to help people get educated about oral cancer. There needs to be more awareness, and people need to learn how to examine their mouths and what to watch for and stuff. I've learned SO much these past few weeks, and I am going to share what I've learned with others. Oh, and I really am going to quit smoking!
Thank you all for being so supportive through all of this with me. It really has meant a lot to me. I have kept all of you in my thoughts and prayers since I found this place, and I will continue to do so. I hope it's okay if I still come here somtimes.
Please take good care of you!!!
