I still have some lymphedema going on. I had a virus a week ago and it got worse with that for a few days so I had to massage it out like crazy. Also, I had an allergic reaction to a medication and that made my neck swell up a little bit more than usual. I'm pretty sure I'll be dealing with it for quite some time!

Stephanie, 23, SCC on the right side of my tongue, surgery on 5-19-08, over half my tongue removed, free flap constructed from my forearm, bilateral neck dissection, one positive node. Radiation (32) and chemo (carboplatin) started on 6-16-08. Recurrence 4/09 in lungs.
