fogelbergfan Contributing Member (25+ posts) Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 29 Austin,TX	Nelie - After you had this procedure/surgery done, was there a dramatic improvement in your ability to swallow more normally? What is the good and bad of having this done? Any and all info is appreciated since this is the area that I need help most.Although I have been EXTREMELY fortunate so far and eat whatever I want,I can tell it's a matter of time before I have to have something done. 32 Year Oral Cancer Survivor.CURED!!Right neck dissection.5000 rads plus radium needle implants in the tongue.Also had alternative treatment in Germany from Dr. Hans Neiper in 1982.The combination of ALL the treatments cured me.
