SandySt. Gold Member (200+ posts) Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 253 Virginia, USA	X28007 Hi from another Virginian. Thank for your tip of putting some wet vegs on the fork with the meat. I generally don't have much of a problem with dry mouth, but when I eat everything sticks to either my teeth or the back of my mouth. I end up drinking water like a fish to swallow it. Chocolate for me is the ONLY thing I can taste (and I'm not really a chco fan). I was hoping that my taste buds would start working sooner, but I guess I just have to be patient. Not been able to tast things has helped in one way...it's broken my addiction to sweets. Thanks for the tip. Sandyst Sandy 56, BOT SCC Biopsy 1/21/09 Stage 3, T3NXM0. Finished 3 cycle induction chemotherapy 4/7/09. (Chisplatin, 5-fu and Texotere). Re-staged 4/20/09,(very successful.) Will start Carboplatin/radiation 2 Gy/5 days/7 weeks (Tomotherapy) starting May 4th. Finished 6/22/09. OCF member/supporter
