In the 5+ years I've been on this board, I don't remember anyone having that problem for more than a few days and msopt did not have it at all.
Voice change is one of the few symptoms that oral cancers sometimes exhibit. That said, I'd get thy butt down to Sloan Kettering for a CT & PET scans and scoping as fast as I could get an appointment. Hoping this problem is going away is not going to solve it and may make it permanent. It's only a couple hours drive.
