Yes the emotions (depressions) run hot and cold especially in this after treatment time where all you can do is wait....for me the 6 months after treatment were some of the worst. I can't imagine what I would have been like if I had lost my father in that same time. I agree with you, the appointment Wednesday should help you to get peace of mind.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
