Coping with the idea that this can be life threatening is hard for everyone. Supporting loved ones during such times, goes beyond just survival. It can mean getting at some level to the point of accepting what might happen and then living each moment to the fullest.
I wish I had a miracle drug to tell you about ......but I don't. I will hope and pray that your sister will do better. Please tell us more about her story.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
