I'm sorry you're faced with this a second time, but I'm glad you found this site. I have to re-emphasize what Loretta said about the importance of getting to a comprehensive cancer center (if you're not already), as a recurrence needs every bit of ammunition you can throw at it, and you'll typically find the best head and neck cancer medical teams at a CCC. There is a list of them on this site under Other Resources.

Please feel free to check back here often with your questions and concerns. There are plenty of people here who will offer you their support and the benefit of their experiences (including caregivers who will try to be of help to your wife).
