I found that looking after my husband, getting him to treatment, making sure that he had all the meds he needed, cooking for myself etc. literally took up all the time I had in a day. Conserve your energy so that you don't crash after the first couple of weeks. Caregiving is not an easy task and the stress can get to you. Don't feel bad about looking after your own needs.
