Interestingly, the doctors changed their opinion about her level of pain when they discovered that Aunty's family had lots of money, came from Australia and were prepared to pay for morphine. Morphine (which turned out to be dirt cheap) was supplied immediately, to great effect. Aunty went from "at death's door" to being sent home.
But I digress ...
There is nothing like being home, where you know how to access the services and hopefully you are in your own bed at least.
