Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 138 | She said I could shower and I do. I don't know that there are any stitches in mine. The doctor said something about using super glue - I think she was serious. There's just some plastic on my skin. It is now a week since my PEG placement though and it still hurts. I have an appt. Tuesday. I'm hoping she says it's okay. I think it is, but I just wasn't prepared for the pain.
