I have been getting mouth sores but today had quite a bit of pain in one area near my tongue. When I looked in the mirror I see a slightly raised rather large white spot on my gum under my tongue. I am freaking out about it. I am terrified that it is cancer but thinking it could also be a sore from my treatments. Has anyone else ever had this kind of sore from treatments? I have radiation tomorrow and was going to have them check it out. I hate this Thank you for your help. Theresa

I would not worry too much but definitely have it looked at. If it is a cancer, chances are it's in the radiation path so it will get cooked. hugs.

If it is, it's easily treatable. Hope your team can get you some relief today! Hang in there --

Good luck.
