I talked to her husband who was home with their kids and he said it is for a combination of pain, dehydration and issues with her PEG. I think this is the best place for her until they get her more comfortable. It will be hard on her being away from her precious children but hopefully this will give her more strength to get through the final treatments. I know she will be checking in on these boards when she is up to it so if you aren't friends with her on FB please leave words of love and encouragement for her here!

Ive been worried about her. Treatments can be so darn hard on some people. Im sure she is upset over not being home with her children. While being in the hospital really stinks in cases like this its the very best place for her. Hope she is well enough to come home very soon. She is probably where she needs to be to get hydrated and better pain control. It has to be so difficult not being home with the kids but in the hospital she can just worry about herself. I will continue to pray for Kerri. Hope the hospital staff can make her a little more comfortable. Wanda

Kerri, I hope you hospital stay is short and youll be back home with your family soon.

Hopefully she'll get what she needs from the hospital and be able to focus on treatment an healing. Do they have award service available where we can send her a pick me up? Thanks so much for posting I had been thinking about her as well.
