Remember that even Paranoids have real enemies and Cancer is definitely not our friend. So it's actually normal in our case to have so called paranoid feelings. Actually I was a guest lecturer at a University Psychology course on how in some instances, "paranoia" is not the right term since it comes from the Greek words para (beyond) and noos (mind) while feelings based on intuitive knowledge are para (beyond) and gnosis (knowledge), so I had a neologism Paragnosis feelings. So relax, have a glass of wine or MJ cookies. We all got though this and you will do. I was scared and had scary thoughts but I just made them background chatter. Gotta love it ! Cheryl -- I think you needed some of those "special" brownies today for sure.

I live in Arizona and the border is not a friendly place these days. Medical MJ is already legal in Arizona, they just don't have the distribution places going yet. It should be by summertime. Please don't break any Arizona laws. We have the "toughest Sheriff in America" - lol.

I have moved past it... I am a take action type of person I guess. I managed after much emotional trauma to get what I wanted - which really was just a qualified person to look at it. So I am ok. But realistically... it shouldn't be this hard.
Thanks everyone... you all make me laugh when I am duly stressed... laughter is the best medicine! And people I love brownies.

Seriously, I don't want to smoke it, and it's so much nicer then popping pills that make you feel the same anyways, they just don't taste as good, lol.
Docs up here are funny though. They say, just a moment... leave the room...take off their docs attire... come back and introduce themselves by their first and last name and just as a friend... tell you about mj and say it's better then any antidepressant or anxiety/pain med... leave the room and come back all doctor again and move along with the appointment.
They did this to my boyfriends father, and now to me. I just don't want to smoke it, but eat... that's something i could get into, hahahaha.
Hope you have better days with ur docs and they stop treating you like a hot potato.
25/female at diagnosis Dx;stage 3 SCC tongue 03/25/2010 Surgery 04/13/2010 Trach,ng tube, peg feeding tube Hemiglossectomy, right side neck dissection, 40 lymph nodes removed. Free-Flap transplant to tongue. 30 rounds IMRT ended July 15,2010 | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 157 Senior Member (100+ posts) | Senior Member (100+ posts) Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 157 | Ok, as a younger generation of MJ user I have really tried them all and done my own research and as well have my own beliefs. Even got into and MJ battle with my former shrink about it who insisted is caused my depression. Now, healthy as a kitten, knock on wood, no more depression! I do get the background chatter of " I will be back! " or the bad dreams at times but I curse back and grab the Rat Fink bong. Look, I quit smoking at Dx, and I smoked hardcore. Yeah I am only 28, but I seriously did do enough drinking and smoking for an entire Irish soccer team.
My stance is this, How are you to tell someone how they feel or what should make them feel better? Except the few weeks I could not stop coughing and barely open my mouth I vaporized as well as smoked MJ and I feel it helped me through. Not only with coping but my appetite. I never once through treatment had a loss of appetite, just a huge loss in variety. There were days I was on the table getting zapped thinking about burrittos.
Carcinogens, carcinogens...I find it hard to believe MJ produces anywhere near the amount of carcinogens in a single cig or the amount of HC produced at a daily drag race. Stay away from putting MJ in flavored tobacco papers and I really feel you are ok, I refuse to because of how addicted I was to the stupid guy on the horse with the hat. Ive had one drink since treatment, and as Minh said...VERY METALLIC!!!
I would rather stick it to the man, and look him dead in the eye and say...." Would you rather little Billy have a few swigs of your hideaway scotch and borrow the porsche,or take a few bong rips, put on a DEAD album and eat all the cereal?!". I have served time for MJ before, and even been looked at as some heroin addict for being pro MJ. I feel safe using it and will do anything to not return to a 2 pack-a-day fiend of rat poison.
Your Friend, Nathan
P.S.- 2nd post scan next month, Breath and Believe right?...Where did I put those papers...?
