Christine,

You were wonderful in the commercial!!! I could hear you singing!!! And your other clips are very moving. I was very touched by your story, I felt like I was hearing it for the first time. Thank you for this...it took a lot of courage to bare your soul.

Good job, Christine. It takes a "gutsy" person to do what you did in those commercials, and you sure are that - "gutsy!" Hey, that's a compliment grin You did great! Everyone is so proud.

I have known how strong a person you are since the first time we met 3 1/2 years ago. Having visited you in the hospital after what I believe was your second operation, further showed me your strength.

Watching your videos has given me more of an in depth understanding of what a wonderful person you are and what you have gone through. You truly are an inspiration and one of the best advocates for oral cancer awareness. I am proud to call you my friend and am truly a blessed by your friendship.

Well, to me I can't begin to describe the feelings I had when I watched those. I don't think I can go there really.

What I will do though is tell you a story on how powerful those videos are...to those that are not a part of this forum so have no clue on how many people Christine has helped, supported and inspired.

For the last 6 weeks or so I have been on a project to promote Oral Cancer Awareness month in April. I organized a "call center" at the pizza place I "help out" at and have gathered several volunteers to come and contact dentists around the country to get involved and do screenings.

I shared with these volunteers Christine's videos.

To see there reactions...then to hear each one of them say how good they felt about "smiling and dialing" because they were making a difference. To know that they were helping save lives, not just from death but from such dramatic change and loss from what they take for granted everyday.

Christine, you are my hero my dear. You inspire me to do more and I'm using that inspiration as motivation to take action and raise awareness to help prevent others from having to walk this path.

Love you my dear friend.

Eric

I was in a movie theater, saw the commercial & probably created a scene when I yelled, "Oh, my God! I know her. This is the commercial we've been talking about on the Oral Cancer Site."

It was a marvelous commercial, and the OC survivors were awesome. I had seen the Truth site, so I knew your voice, & I heard you sing, too.

YOU are an amazing person!

Marlene
