The main thing in the being mean dept is that most of us have pride involved and in no way want to depend on someone else for what we did ourselves and thought nothing of it. It's a mental man thing with your hubby I would bet too. This has to hurt him very much and he knows no other way to express his feelings. One day he will just cease to be the mean guy and be his normal nice guy again. Just wait it out with him. He needs you now more than ever.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
