Since it appears that only the salty taste has returned, you may even find low sodium tastes salty also. I was at a point where even my home made chicken stock which had NO salt tasted salty right along with bottled water. Heh, but it beats cardboard which is where I was before I could taste salt again.

Try some cream of wheat made with water with hot milk and honey on it. How about some poached, scrambled or soft boiled eggs. I scramble eggs with 1 tablespoon heavy cream per egg and lots of butter. Makes for lots of calories. And there is no rule that you can't eat eggs for dinner. Eat whatever works. Next your on your way to rare lamb chops or a prime rib. Keep on swallowing. Gotta keep those muscles working.
